Launch Party
After 2.65 years in the making, I am pleased to anounce that the all new Boxing Clever website is up and running, well beta test version 2.0 anyway!!!! It's relatively light on content as I'm going for quality rather than quantity, but then I suppose that's pretty light too!! I've got another piece for the portfolio that is halfway there, so expect that in about 8 more months!!
ALL NEW BOXING CLEVER
It's a bit of tweaking away but I thought I'd put it up now to gain feedback, negative or positive. For instance, should I stick with it in a popup (and does that centre on your computers?) or shall I just have it in the window like this?

rock on captain. I like the first choice. But where's your "visual designer's diary" that used to feature on the old site? Or would you have to censor so much of what you do now there'd be hardly any content?!

My life was never that eventful, considering I spent most of the week cocooned in the house! It's kind of been replaced by the random fader at the beginning, but without the strict daily deadline!!!
I know serious posts don't go down that well here, but let me know all the things that aren't working, what annoys you etc, I'm not just looking for a back pat, come on, hurt me!!!!!!
Errm, the random fade thing makes it look like that's your work rather than photographs of stuff you taken that you like. If I were a potential client I might think boxing clever was just a shit version of banksy.

Wheres the Fairy Liquid project? Loser.
That's more like it!! I thought that about the graffiti ones, but that's just because I saw a lot at the time, in Barcelona!! They'll be removed over time and placed with whatever I come across, ie bottle tops in grass post marathon!
Fairy Liquid images are currently being cleaned up - get it!!!! Still got them on the BC server, there's room for them yet!
I like it in the pop up, think the size restriction of the window works creating a tension around the images. This is required as you can see oyu have designed it with this in mind. It loads very well without glitch and all seemed to work fine for me. Obviously with more work up it will look like theres more to see but its really good, i cant see one thing id change if i am honest. good work.
Kratz, I think its great.
The pop up window is nicer in my opinion, its neat and looks professional.
I like the photographs that fade in and out on a slideshow as well, good selection, vibrant images.
Only thing I think it could do with, is a bit more info in the 'About' section... like you had before I think?
Just a couple of paragraphs saying "Boxing clever is..."
But saying that, i do like the minimilist stripped down-ness of it all.
