I can't help looking at this! A few things are bothering me!!
a) Why are you dressed like this?
b) Why are you both so happy at being dressed like this?! No 8/9/10 year old would have been remotely pleased with having done this attire for school!!
c) Why is it Black & White? It makes it look even older than 1988!

b) Confidence, and maybe people in small villages are weirder... not much bullying at my school, so we got away with it.
c) I think the paper had black and white photography on the cover back then...?

When my dads mates saw it in the local paper they fucking ripped it out of him. you can imagine the 'bender son', 'fairy faggot', 'failed father' stuff being banded around. He said that I nearly ruined his reputation as a reputable estate agent in sevenoaks.
