Phat farm
For the freelancers amoungst us, this is quite a nice programme to watch if you're having a late breakfast like I just did.
Its about 4 black inner city youths going on a 'rural scholarship' in Devon, and the 2 who impress farmer Wilfred the most will win jobs with him on the farm.
From the Ch4 microsite:
"With a blinkered view of life outside the big city, how will they cope when confronted with the reality of rural Britain and being the only black faces in town? Will they be able to integrate into village life and successfully undertake their duties as working members of the community? Can the countryside provide the opportunities that the city has failed to deliver?"

I watched a programme at a similar time this week about the history of the 'n' word presented by Ashley D formerly of The So Solid Crew. Most enlightening.
I saw that! When it was originally on a obviously! He was surprised to learn it wasn't a term of endearment towards his fellow homies!!
Strange that!!!!!!
